Kilmore United is delighted to announce the appointment of Jack Pierce as our new Men’s First Team Manager for the 2025/2026 season.
Jack brings a unique combination of energy, coaching experience, and a deep connection to our club. A graduate of Sports Coaching and Business Management at SETU Carlow, Jack holds a UEFA B License and is currently Head Coach with Wexford FC’s U17 Women’s National League side. He also boasts senior-level experience as former Assistant First Team Coach at DLR Waves.
Jack’s roots run deep in Kilmore. Elected to our club committee at the age of 21 — one of the youngest ever to do so — he has played an active role in developing both underage and senior teams at Kilmore United, even while balancing his responsibilities at Wexford FC.
π¬ From Jack:
“It’s a really proud moment for me to be able to lead the coaching staff at the club where I started my own football journey. Despite being one of the youngest and smallest rural clubs in the Wexford League, Kilmore United have always punched above their weight, competing at the top levels year after year.
We’ve produced some top-class players over the years and I believe this current group is no different. I see savage potential in these lads, and now it’s up to me and the coaching group to bring that out. There’s great energy in the club right now — it’s full of people working toward a brighter future both on and off the pitch. I felt that energy immediately, and it made the decision to come back an easy one. I can’t wait to get to work.”
We’re thrilled to welcome Jack back into the fold in this new role. With his vision, passion, and deep understanding of the Kilmore ethos, we’re confident the team is in great hands.
Please join us in wishing Jack and the squad the very best for the season ahead! β½
